Liverpool is through to the quarter-finalsof the UEFA Chamoions League after beating Inter Milan at the San Siro. Arsenal also won at the San Siro last week. For the first time in the Champions League , half of the eight quarter-finalists this year will be English cluba. Liverpool went to the San Siro to protect their 2-0 lead from the first leg in Liverpool and they did it in style. First, Inter had a defender sent off, like in the first leg, then they let Liverpool have a number of good chances. Then, in the 64th minute, Fernando Torres scored the only goal of the game which ended Inter's chances of of going through to the quarter-finals.
